Robbin Davis had grown up in a Christian home and received Christ as her Savior at the age of six.  She attended Cantonment Baptist Church in Cantonment, Florida, and sat under the preaching of her Father, Ray Davis.  During high school, Robbin began working in the various children's minstries at CBC including teaching a Sunday school class, singing in the church choir, and volunteering during Neighborhood Bible Time.  Following High School Graduation from a Christian School, Robbin enrolled in a Christian College where she spent the next three years earning an associates degree in Secretarial studies.  It was while she was in her final year of college that she met Joey.

Joey Maples grew up in Augusta, Georgia, where he often moved from place to place with his mother, who had been fulfilling the duty of single mom for most of Joey's childhood.  Joey received Christ as his Savior at the age of nine while attending Lumpkin Road Baptist Church in Augusta, Georgia.  Following high school graduation from a public school system, Joey enlisted into the United States Air Force.  Upon returning home to Augusta, a decision was made to attend Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri.  Due to what Joey calls a lack of "prayer preparation", inadequate planning, and a mis-management of finances, he returned back home to Augusta after only eight months at BBC.  With no clear goals or plans, God brought Robbin into his life in September 1995 and the two would become Joey & Robbin Maples in May 1997.

After nearly two years of marriage, in March 1999, Robbin gave birth to their first child...a son, David Wesley Maples.  Two years later in March 2001, they were given a second child...this time a daughter, Emma Rae Maples.  In May 2003, a third child, Luke Allen Maples was born and was diagnosed at one month of age with a terminal disease known as Cystic Fibrosis ("CF").  Throughout 2004, Robbin would experience two mis-carriages.  In September 2005, new life would again be given to Joey and Robbin, as Olivia Grace Maples was born.  On December 29, 2005, Luke Allen died of Chronic Lung Disease caused by "CF".  The next day, Olivia Grace was diagnosed with "CF".  In February 2007, Robbin gave birth to their fifth child...a daughter, Jordan Lynn Maples.  On March 20, 2007, Jordan was officially diagnosed with "CF".

Today, The Maples Family serve the Lord Jesus Christ, using their God-given testimony and  vocal gift to deliver God's message of hope, comfort and encouragement to both Christians and lost people throughout the United States.
